Methodology and assumptions
Method: negative-hypergeometric search count blended with route knowledge, sustainable sprint fraction, crowd-shielded contact rate (lambda = lambda_base * (1/S)^theta * m_diff * m_power), fixed-point total time, and Poisson-thinned deaths. P_escape = P(D < L). Infinite Lives branch sets L = infinity and reports expected total run time T' = T + mu * t_respawn. Assumptions: lambda_base = 6.0 contacts/min and theta = 0.7 are research-model constants exposed as advanced inputs. Key count K = 5 by default; user-editable. Applicability: use to compare Hard vs No Power vs the Infinite Lives pass; verify key counts, search times, and respawn delay in-game.
